Steven Gerrard sends encouragement to Liverpool

Steven Gerrard has sent a message to the Liverpool squad to encourage them for their upcoming match against Sevilla in the Europa League.

The former Liverpool captain will be hoping that his club will end up their season at least with a trophy.

Liverpool ended their season with a draw against West Brom with a much-changed team as they look forward to the game against Sevilla. The Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp made numerous changes to the team that faced West Brom because he claimed that his players would not have focused on the game ahead of the final.

Klopp believes that his team can beat Sevilla even if the Spanish side has won the trophy two times consecutively. The German manager stated that this is going to be a different game and that Liverpool is very different from the teams that Sevilla beat previously. He said that his players are ready for the match and that they will make everything they can in order to win the game.

Jurgen Klopp has told his players that they are good enough to win the final and that they should believe in themselves. The German manager said that they should not worry about Sevilla winning the trophy twice and that they should focus on themselves.

Steven Gerrard has also urged Liverpool to believe in themselves and to put in a great performance in order to lift the trophy. The former Liverpool captain scored and won the old UEFA Cup against Alaves in 2001, and he was the captain of the team when they lifted the Champions League in 2005. He will be hoping that his former club will be able to repeat this achievement and win the Europa League on Thursday.

Steven Gerrard is currently playing in the MLS with LA Galaxy.
