RANGERS VS HIBERNIAN REVIEW

Rangers have had a couple of mixed results in recent weeks winning 3 and drawing two of their last five matches in the League. These runs of results have not been helpful as eternal rivals Celtic have stretched the lead at the top of the table to eight points.

However, Rangers have the opportunity to reduce this gap to five points in the Friday match game away to 6th placed Hibernian. Hibs are coming off a 2-0 loss to Celtic in the Scottish Cupquarter-final and are expected to provide a sizeable threat for the Ibrox outfit.

Rangers have already dropped four points against them this season and it would be interesting how the game unfolds at Easter Road.  Hibs are known for their hostile atmosphere anytime they face the Old Firm Clubs and this should not be any different.

Rangers came off a decent draw away to Aberdeen but Gerard was criticized from some corners about his tactics in a game that many fans believed they needed to win to keep tabs on League leaders Celtic. Rangers this season have been on and off in their performances in some games they look unplayable with the likes of Morelos and Daniel Candeias able to rip apart defences.

While in other games the team seems to lack ideas and quality to break down teams that sit back against them. Rangers boss Gerard has stuck to the same lineup in the past two games and could make some adjustments to his squad for the match.

The Liverpool legend was happy with his team’s performance after the away draw at rivals Aberdeen but nothing short of a victory would be considered a disaster on Friday.

Our Prediction:  We expect Rangers to win comfortably by 2-
