Me Grandad is old enough to have a good memory of Billy Liddell, I’ve been told many times that Stevie is the only other player he’s seen drag a team by the scruff of its neck through countless matches, come rain or shine.
I see no higher praise than that. I only wish that rivals would show full appreciation of one of the greatest players of his generation before its too late.
Forget Beckham, Forget Scholes,greats they may be. Gerrard is a player that defines an era.

This brings tears to my eyes,its so hard to admit that in 5 years,or a bit more maybe,he wont be playing.Grown up watching him,feeling the emotions,sharing the passion.The love for LFC.Never known who my 2nd fav. player its.Its always been Steve Gerrard at No.1,and at no.2 and on and on.Wish i could keep rewinding the last decade and watch him all over again.Brilliand lad,great player.Love him.Brilliant Video.

Gerrard is the modern day Paul Gascoigne , just without all the alcohol problems, he’s a brilliant leader, defender, passer, committed and he’s never left Liverpool even when Chelsea have made an offer for him and his wages would be 100,000£ a WEEk, that’s how loyal he is.
